Being surrounded by color is a daily inspiration. Our Shepherd Island frog is a fluorescent green frog with small black islands all over it. A nearby island is home to the blue jean frog similarly depicted here. The poison on the skin of these frogs was historically used to poison arrow tips. Hence, they are all called poison dart frogs.
